BURSARIES
2009
MUSIC:
The Festival awards bursaries to those performers who in the opinion of the Festival Committee have shown potential and can most benefit from further tuition and experience.
The bursaries are awarded to performers between the ages of 11 and 21 years to attend the residential European Youth Summer Music Orchestral and Vocal Course held at Haileybury College, Hertfordshire. The course provides tuition by world renowned tutors culminating in a concert at the end of the week. There is a dedicated but relaxed atmosphere at the College with rehearsals and options morning and late afternoon and in between times, quite a wide range of sport and social events are on offer.
The
number of bursaries awarded depends on Festival sponsorship received.
This
year we were able to award 3 Bursaries:
LMDF Bursary (Funded by The Lincoln Music and Drama Festival)
Music:Link

Rose
Bursary (With many thanks to the Rose family who have been associated
with music in Lincoln for
very many years and
who sponsor this annual bursary).
DRAMA:
