Bursaries
The
Festival supports the European Youth Summer Music School which is held each summer
at
Haileybury College in Hertfordshire.
Bursaries have been provided to promising young festival performers through
the generosity of
Music:Link as well as
one funded directly by the Festival.
We
also provide a Festival Bursary to enable one of our young Speech and Drama performers
to attend a summer school at Uppingham.
Festival
Bursary winners are selected by the relevant committee and
the Music
Committee recommends further performers for consideration by
Music:Link
for their bursaries.
Winners are announced at the Festival Concert.
